In House X Rays - South Bend
X-rays allow Dr. Meyers to properly diagnose your condition and develop an appropriate treatment plan. They may also be used to monitor a particular condition or evaluate the effectiveness of ongoing treatment. There are several situations in which x-rays may be recommended, including traumatic injuries to bones or joints which may be broken or dislocated, suspected joint disease such as arthritis, patients at risk for osteoporosis, possible spinal instability and genetic or functional issues such as scoliosis.
Dr. Meyers has completed significant studies in x-ray technology and diagnosis as a part of her training, and is fully qualified to take and review x-rays for our patients. Bone structure may vary from patient to patient and x-rays can provide information on bone position and alignment that allow the doctor to provide the most effective adjustments and treatment for each individual. Having this valuable information before treatment may shorten treatment time and heighten effectiveness.
We are happy to provide in-house x-rays to our South Bend patients to eliminate trips to other facilities when they are in pain. We believe in using every available option to return our patients to optimum health and comfort as quickly as possible. Although x-rays are an effective diagnostic tool in many cases, they are only recommended when necessary for an accurate diagnosis. In addition to x-ray technology, we may recommend utilizing MRI, CT scans, EMG, nerve conduction velocities and laboratory procedures as needed to reach a definitive diagnosis.
Providing in-house x-rays is an important part of our comprehensive health and wellness services. Over the past 20 years, we have developed a well-rounded offering of chiropractic care, physical therapy, therapeutic massage, in-office rehab exercises and home therapy regimens get our patients feeling better fast.
